Welcome to the Guildford Photographic Society

The Guildford Photographic Society runs a well-balanced programme of events  consisting of lectures by distinguished photographers, presentations and tutorials by current members, and competitions  in which all members are welcome to participate.

We are a forward-thinking club which embraces digital methods, but we haven't lost our respect for tradition and more conventional techniques. We're proud to have a varied membership and feel that as an eclectic group of photographers, we gain knowledge and experience not only from our scheduled events and lectures, but also through our interaction with one another.

If you're interested in finding out more about the Guildford Photographic Society, you're very welcome to join us for an evening or two at any time during the season, with no obligation, to see how things work, who we are, and what we do. If, after that time, you'd like to continue attending and also get involved in competitions and exhibitions, we'd be happy to welcome you as a member.

The new season starts at 8pm on Monday, 7 September 2009 at Burpham Village Hall

Guildford Photographic Society Exhibition - An opportunity to see the work of the Guildford Photographic Society members at Guildford House Gallery (155 High St, Guildford, GU1 3AJ). The Gallery is open 10.00am to 4.45pm Monday to Saturday with free admission. The Exhibitions runs from 21 November 2009 to 2 January 2010.
